Trip to the Windsor

Mrs Morrow, Mrs Proctor and pupils from Key Stage 2 Lifeskills group enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Windsor Bakery on Wednesday 12th June.  The children had the opportunity to see behind the scenes, experience the busy work that goes into baking and enjoy tasting some of the delicious food and treats we all enjoy.  The staff demonstrated their skills which inspired many pupils and provided them with real 'hands on' experience.  Children got to ask lots of great questions, ice their own cakes, see how our school logo could be scanned onto sugar paper and then put directly onto a cake.   We would like to thank Gordon and all the Windsor staff who made this fantastic trip such a positive experience for pupils.  We really appreciate the patience and generosity of the Windsor staff, who took time to do this during a busy working day.
