Walking Bus - October 2025

Our first Walking Bus event was a fantastic success! We had an amazing turnout, with families, kids, and even a few pets joining the walk. It was a wonderful way to kick off the day with fresh air, exercise, and great company.

Cross Country Running

The first Flahavan' Primary School League cross country event took place at Banbridge Rugby Club on Friday morning.  We entered a team of 19 runners and they all did an amazing job getting round the 1000m course. Many on the team were running their first ever competition race. In the girls race Effie P7R placed a fantastic 16th followed by powerful running from the rest of the team. In the boys race one of the new members of the team Reuben P6LS matched the girls with a hard fought 16th place.  Everyone worked very hard and we are proud of the whole team. Thank-you to all the parents/grandparents who joined us and helped out on the day.  A special shout out to our coach and Bridge IPS parent Heather Ardis who is the organiser of the event. It was a great morning and we can't wait for the next race.

Celebrating Grandparents Day 2025

Thank-you to all of the lovely grandparents who were able to come into school to spend some time with their grandchildren. The pupils in Bridge really enjoyed spending some quality time with you all playing games, chatting and sharing their classrooms.  It was so nice to see you all and we know this meant a lot to our pupils.

Congratulations to Our September Award Winners from P5-7

Congratulations to our award winners in P1-3 for the month of September

Evo Soccer Tournament 1

Congratulations to all the boys who represented our school in the Evo soccer tournament on Thursday 25th September. Both the A and B teams played exceptionally well, winning all of their matches and today’s tournament. ⭐️

Special recognition was given to Sean in P7Y who won goalkeeper of the tournament against 20 others.

An amazing start to this year’s football! ⚽️ Keep it up!

Our School Values

In our first assembly of the year Mrs Devlin reminded everyone of our shared school  values, which you can see in the beautiful display photo below. P5-7 pupils were brilliant at identifying what these values are and how we can try to display them in our daily lives in school and beyond.

#TeamBridge

We sang our school song together and said our school motto: 'Growing and learning together to be the best that we can be!'

Scarecrow Workshops in P4
