P2
Welcome to P2. There are two P2 classes, taught by Mrs Reynolds, Mrs Smyth and Mrs Bell. We teach in a structured, practical environment, where children are encouraged to interact and develop holistically.

Outdoor Learning Fun
Trip to Palace Stables
A super day for P2R at Armagh Palace Stables! We followed the journey of an apple from the orchard to the
factory, to the shop and finally to our homes. We loved our art & craft, drama, and baking workshops.
P2 SB enjoyed their trip to Palace Stables today. We learned lots of things about apples and had lots of fun and laughs along the way.
Capacity
In Numeracy P2SB explored the concept of capacity by comparing different containers to see which held more or less liquid. This hands-on activity helped students build their understanding of measurement through play and discovery.
The children worked in small groups using everyday items like cups, bottles, jugs, and bowls. They filled each container with water and predicted which would hold the most or least. Then, they tested their predictions by pouring the contents into a measuring jug to check the actual capacity.
Have a look at some of the amazing things we have been up to in P.2
We Love Outdoor Play
P2SB having great fun during outdoor play this week, experimenting with water and ice, and painting using natural materials
P2R
Mrs Reynolds is so proud of how well her class have settled into P2! Pupils love to be active, have fun together and exploring the outdoors.
P2 love to be active in PE
